The Fires Are Back.....

It's fire season folks! That lovely time of the year...the smell of hopes and dreams burning to the ground fills the air...the endless hours watching the news...hoping the winds don't change direction..or hoping they do...ash covers everything!

Looks like we're making out better than 4 years ago, the fires have stayed about 15 miles north of us. Though still visible from here the smoke is, for the most part, staying away too. Bryton just loves it, a fun day with mommy and daddy. We considered a vaca of SD for cleaner air in PHX but the 8 eastbound is closed in two spots, so here we sit. It's hot in the house, and I'm fearfull of turning on the a/c and making it smokey in here.

Kozmo whimpers, I think he wants to pee outside. Off I go...

Baby Shower in Arizona

Today was a beautiful day as friends and family gathered for a barbecue and a celebration. It was wonderful seeing our loved ones again.

The Nursery

Walker has worked so hard on our baby’s nursery. It took him weeks to cut, stain and install the bamboo paneling on the wall. With a vintage surf motif and shades of chocolate and chartreuse, it truly looks amazing!

Babymoon In Maui

March 1- March 7, 2007

Although we have already been to Oahu and Japan within the past year, we decided to take one more trip to paradise with some friends.

I have started to feel the baby move inside of me. On the morning of March 2, while Walker was still sleeping, I put his hand on my stomach and he felt his son move for the very first time.

Day Trip to Arizona

Today I hopped on a plane to go to my friend Jenny’s baby shower in Arizona. Here I am 21 weeks pregnant with Jenny who is 8 months pregnant, and Jenny’s sister-in-law Angie who is 5 months pregnant.

Third Ultrasound…It’s a BOY!

This was the most exciting ultrasound so far. Today we found out that we are having a BOY! The ultrasound took nearly an hour because they take a lot of measurements to make sure the fetus is developing properly. Everything looks good so far.

Second Ultrasound

It is already week 14. Our little fetus is very active. I can't feel it moving around in my womb but I could definitely see it!
